SSL/TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

When SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Cookies

Our website partly uses so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies." They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.

Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your information from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in processing your inquiry). We will not pass on this data without your consent. The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions—especially retention periods—remain unaffected.

Online Booking via hotelspider

For room bookings, we embed the booking form of hotelspider on our website, a service provided by Tourisoft Sàrl, Route de Champ-Colin 18, CH-1260 Nyon, Switzerland ("hotelspider"). When you enter your desired travel period and click "Book," your browser transmits the search parameters you selected (arrival and departure dates, number of adults/children, language) to hotelspider's servers, and you are redirected in a new tab to the hotelspider booking platform. The actual booking—including the entry of your personal data such as name, address, email address and, where applicable, payment details—takes place exclusively there, outside our website. hotelspider is responsible for this processing; its own privacy policy applies in this respect. The legal basis for embedding this booking system is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or performance of the accommodation contract). As hotelspider is based in Switzerland, this involves a transfer of data to a third country; the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for Switzerland pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR, meaning an adequate level of data protection exists. For further details on data processing by hotelspider, in particular regarding any further recipients and data transfers, please refer to hotelspider's privacy policy at https://www.hotel-spider.com/privacy-policy/.

Please note that if you completely delete your cookies, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted and you may need to reactivate it.
